When choosing a brand of formula for your newborn, it’s important to consider how accessible it will be to your family. You’re gonna need a lot of that stuff if your baby isn’t able to breastfeed.
It’s no good selecting a premium formula that’s only available from a random shop in a faraway town. We’ve seen formula shortages wreak havoc due to the pandemic, supply issues, or product recalls, with devastating consequences. So working out exactly where to buy goat’s milk formula from is an essential step before you commit to it.
Let’s look at your options for where to buy goat’s milk formula in Australia.
Is goat’s milk formula widely available in Australia?
Thankfully yes!
While it’s not as common as cow’s milk formula, goat’s milk formula (and goat’s milk in general!) is gaining popularity due to its nutritional properties and digestive benefits for babies with sensitivities or intolerances.
You’ll find several brands of goat’s milk formula at your local Coles or Woolworths.
Is goat’s milk formula good for babies?
You betcha! Goat’s milk is naturally closer in composition to human breast milk than cow’s milk is. It contains smaller protein and fat particles which makes it gentler on the stomach, and it has more human milk oligosaccharides (prebiotics) than cow’s milk.
